MISSION STATEMENT
As Catholic professional and business men and women, we are called to
live as disciples of Jesus Christ not only on Sundays, but every day at home
and at work. Our goal in the Catholic Professional and Business Club ('CPBC'),
an unincorporated association, shall be to continue our faith formation as
Catholics so that we can bear witness in our daily lives by word and deed to
the Good News of Jesus Christ. We gather to share with others who seek a more
ethical business environment. These goals shall be attained by coming
together monthly to hear from an informative and motivational speaker during
the meeting. Each of us shall strive to integrate our ethical values as
Catholics into our professional and business lives.
ABOUT THE CLUB
The Catholic
Professional and Business Club of the Diocese of Lafayette is a
membership organization, supported by Bishop Higi (Bishop's letter of support). We meet several times each year, the second
Thursday of each month. The
Club’s fiscal year begins September 1 and ends August 30. The cost of the breakfast is $15. Please make
a reservation by fax, mail or e-mail by noon on the Monday before Thursday’s
breakfast.
At our breakfast
meeting, the Club strives to provide speakers who are successful leaders in
their field. They are men and woman with a message to encourage and motivate
our members to live an exemplary Catholic life style in their own business and
personal environments. They are given an opportunity to share their faith,
network and deepen their relation with God.
Our next meeting will be held on September 11, 2008.
